This study explores the teaching methods of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), highlighting their uniqueness, effectiveness, and relevance to contemporary educational theories. Based on evidence drawn from the Qur’an, Hadith, and Seerah literature, key pedagogical strategies identified include storytelling, the question-and-answer method, demonstrative teaching, personalized interaction, and a step-by-step instructional approach. These methods, characterized by simplicity, depth, and practicality, played a significant role in knowledge dissemination and the sustainability of learning. The study critically examines how these traditional methods align with modern educational frameworks such as student-centered learning, constructive learning, personalized learning, and socio-psychological learning. Findings reveal that the Prophet’s teaching strategies not only fostered intellectual growth and cognitive development but also promoted moral character, social cohesion, and holistic personal development. Consequently, these pedagogical approaches serve as foundational educational principles that provide practical guidance for contemporary educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers, offering enduring relevance for promoting both individual and societal advancement. |
