IMPACT OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING ON CREATING N,NTREPRENEURSHIP AND YOUTH EMPLOYMENT AMOI{G YOUTH IN KANTHALE AREA

Abstract

The study investigate the Quality of Training, Type of Course, Duration of the Course on creating entrepreneurship and Youth Employment. There is so far lack of research has been conducted concerning the Quality of Training, Type of Course, Duration of the Course on Creating Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment. This research study plan to examine that problem and fulfil the empirical gap in youth who followed Vocational Training in Vocational Training Authority in Kanthale. The aim of the present research is to investigate the effect of creating entrepreneurship and youth employment. Precisely, the study focused on evaluating the effect of selected variables. Quality of Training, Type of Course, Duration of the Course primary data were collected via questionnaire. The main objectives of the study are to identify the level of the vocational training creating employment among youth in Kanthale area,to identify the relationship between vocational training and creating employment among youth in Kanthale area and to identiff impact of vocational training on creating emplo;,rnent among youth in Kanthale area. Structured questionnaire were distributing among 100 respondents of who followed vocational training of Vocational Training Authority in Kanthale. The data were analysed by uring descriptive, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Lastly, the result indicated that there is significant impact of Quality of Training, Type of Course and Duration of the Course on Creating entrepreneurship and Youth Employment. The finding of this study are useful in further enlarging and enrichment application ofthese concepts in practice.
