dc.description.abstract Over the years, economists, policymakers, and researchers have engaged in a heated discussion about how top management green commitments green intellectual capital effect hotel environmental performance. Less clear findings on the empirical front have been emphasized in the literature. This study's objective is to examine the level of top management green commitment, green intellectual capital and environmental performance of selected hotel and to examine the relationships among top management green commitment and green intellectual capital and environmental performance. Also the aim of this is to examine the impact of top management green commitment and green intellectual capital on environmental performance of selected hotels. We testing the impact, relationship, level of top management green commitment and green intellectual capital on hotel environmental performance of hotels in the Hambantota area of Sri Lanka. A self-administered questionnaire is used to collect data. Further data is analyzed using SPSS software in order to obtain quantitative measure of descriptive statics, correlation, and regression use to multiple linear regression analysis. In this research study, primary data was collected. A structured questionnaire was used as the method of data collection. The Stratified random sampling method was used to create the sampling framework for the study. The quantitative research approach was used. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analyses. The findings indicate that there is good reliability and a high level of top management green commitment, green intellectual capital for the hotel environmental performance. The results also showed that there is a positive relationship between of top management green commitment, green intellectual capital for the hotel environmental performance. en_US
