dc.description.abstract This study investigates the relationship between GHRM Practices and environmental performance and the mediating effect of green intellectual capital of employees in selected banks of Batticaloa Region. This study was implemented with of three variable. The independent variable is GHRM Practices, dependent variable in environmental performance. Green intellectual capital functioned as a mediator between the two variables. This study eliminates the empirical knowledge gap in the Batticaloa Region regarding this topic. Using a structured questionnaire the data was collected from 200 employees in selected banks of Batticaloa Region. And the collected data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation, mediating analyses. The findings reveal that the GHRM Practices and green intellectual capital are in high level among the respondents. And environmental performance also high level among the respondents. The analyses stated the positive relationship between the GHRM Practices and environmental performance, the strong positive relationship between the GHRM Practices and green intellectual capital and the positive relationship between environmental performance and green intellectual capital. Green intellectual capital has been found to cast a mediating effect on the relationship between GHRM Practices and environmental performance en_US
