Digitalization is that the method of process of storing. transforming, and transferring
data into a computer readable fbrmat. In recent.vears. the banking industr,v has seen
significant transformations. The primary aim nf the researcher lvas to find out the
Eflbctiveness of digital transformation on employ'ee pertbrmance in banks in Ampara
district. The research was condr-rcted based on a population stud,v of 179 Employees in
selected bank sector in Ampara district. To achieve the obiective of the research
researcher used descriptive anal,vsis, correlation anal,vsis and repression anal,vsis.
According to the descriptive analysis resnlts the mean value of Digital 'franstbrmation,
Employee Pertbmrance have high levei. Correlation anai-vsis r.vas used to achieve this
obiective. Researcher identified. there is a statisticall.v" and strong positive relationship
between Digital Transtbnnation and Employee Perfonnance. According to the sirnpie
regression results indicates tliat, Digital Transfonnation significantly irnpact on
IJmtrrlovee Perfbrmance. Finall.v researcher recommend further advocate that managers
should adopt diverse management ;ipproaches accorcling to the different backgrouncls
o1-emplo-vees. During digital transtbmration, rranagers should be arvare of the diversiry
of their employees and adopt targeted mallagenlent methods and strategies.
